  • You are still a child of God.

So let your thoughts and your mind know the truth of your new life in Christ. This year know that all the promises of God are still YES and Amen in Christ.

Reflection

Created to be a Reflection

The truth that is there in front of us and calls out to us, is that each of us was created to be a manifestation of God. It is this realization that has the power to transform the world. God created us to be his reflection on earth. He created us to see his divine light shine through the eyes of everyone. A living, breathing demonstration of the love, beauty, and glory of himself.

It is almost too much to comprehend and almost impossible to believe. But deep in the purposes of God is the place where we need to see beyond gender, race, class, wealth, job-title or any other label, all boundaries evaporate, and you find yourself in the wonder and beauty of the Father’s creation.

Each day we stand on the edge of a reality that has the power to transform our world. This whisper of God is calling out to us and inviting us to come and join the party and come and live in the fullness of God.

It is a soft whisper that is trying to captivate and overflow from our hearts.

Heaven on Earth

Created to be Heaven on Earth

In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul uses the most dramatic language to turn our lives upside down and focus our attention on the realization of the work of Christ taking place inside our hearts:-

“that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3 : 17-19)

In these remarkable lines, we hear the anthem of heaven; we enter into the symphony of creation, and we listen to a song that is as vast as the universe itself. The love of the Father is His majestic heart now alive in the children He created.

This prayer of Paul emphasizes to us that the goodness of God is the message that our hearts needed to hear, the devastating corruption of Adam’s sin had tainted our minds, but God, in Christ, has once and forever completely restored us into our Father’s loving embrace.

The love of God is a cosmic transforming power that has no end. Its breadth, height, depth, and length are far beyond the world’s comprehension. Creation groans for its manifestation, imploring the Sons of the Most High King to shine in the darkness. The universe holds its breath in expectation as we start to delight in the finished work of Christ.

We are heavens conductor, Christ alive and living in us, bringing the glory of the King to a dry stubble land.

Kingdom Covenant

Love, Kindness, Peace, Completeness and Compassion.

“For though the mountains should depart and the hills be shaken or removed, yet My love and kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace and completeness be removed, says the Lord, Who has compassion on you.” – Isaiah 54:10

This remarkable verse is the declaration of the reign of the King in the New Covenant. The establishment of a Kingdom Covenant that would surpass creation and time.

The apostle Paul in his letter to the Romans declared exactly the same message when he wrote, “I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present or the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

It is an unconditional covenant, a covenant founded and kept by the finished work of Christ. A covenant birthed by the desire and passion of God. A covenant created before the foundations of the world and ignited by the Cross.

For in Jesus Christ is the fullness of God and all God’s love, kindness, peace, completeness and compassion is in Christ.

The declaration of the King is now the Kingdom alive inside you. For all God is and all Christ is, is contained in the Kingdom Covenant alive in you.

The unconditional declaration of Christ over you is that He is the eternal promise of God, given to release you into the fullness of God. God’s gift, freely given and all you do is receive him and live in its fullness.

Breathe in Christ

Breathe in Christ.

The delights of heaven are all yours in Christ.

You free to eat from the tree of His life, you can dive into the river of His delights, and you can feast from the banquet of His grace.

Enjoy him, feast on him, let him satisfy you, let His love overflow out of your heart. Let His desire be the desire of your heart, let His delight be the delight of your heart.

Thank him, praise him and let the Holy Spirit guide and encourage you.

Breathe in His presence, breathe in His truth, breathe in His words of love and let His words uplift you and heal you and encourage you.

He is always with you, He never leaves you, you are His treasure, His priceless masterpiece of love.

Fear Not

Fear Not

“Fear Not”

In Christ you have nothing to fear, for his overwhelming love is the love song in your heart.

His heart delights to hear your voice; Christ is captivated by your unique complexity.

You are highly valued, he looked you out, searched for you, found you and held you never to be let go.

You are his treasure, before the universe was created he dreamed of you, he planned all the things he could enjoy with you, he put into place all the adventures he would have with you and he called you his own.

His life is eternally wrapped, entwined and united with yours, for you are the heart-beat of his desire. We have the treasure of Christ deep within our hearts.

Today, the very essence of God is dwelling inside you. Out of your innermost being radiates the bright light of the fullness of God’s love, you are a temple of the power and presence of God.

You are a receiver of the life changing river of eternal life.

God Rejoices

God Rejoices in You

In Christ you have entered into the divine purpose of God.

God rejoices in you,

He rejoices over you with songs of laughter.

He rejoices over you with extravagant joy,

He is outrageously happy with you.

His ravenous desire has been planted into you.

You are his vessel of healing and restoration.

Nothing is mundane and you are not ordinary.

You are a child of God.

You are a royal son or daughter of the King.

Royalty is your heritage, Kingship is your destiny. You rule and reign in Christ.

You are the melody of heaven.

The Promise of the Free Gift

The Promise of the Free Gift

“Wait and listen, everyone who is thirsty! Come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Yes, come, buy [priceless, spiritual] wine and milk without money and without price [simply for the self-surrender that accepts the blessing].” – Isaiah 55:1

This is one of the most amazing passages of in the Bible, the declaration of God that his abundant life is a free gift. Here is the heart of the New Covenant that the charge God makes for his divine riches is without price. And it is without price because Christ has purchased it all with his life.

This is extravagant grace, outrageous favour where the only thing God desires is our acceptance. That we lay down our self effort, our performance mentality, and our self righteousness and receive the divine inheritance.

Isaiah shouts out to us from centuries past to listen. It is in the listening that we connect with the heart and purposes of God. Jesus said it in another way to his disciples, “For him that has ears to hear, let him hear!” To receive of Christ it is essential to open our hearts and listen to the truth of his grace, for in the listening comes the understanding to receive.

We don’t need money to receive all the blessings of God, we need an open and listening heart that delights in the love of our Father.

Come, buy and eat, it is all available to you, you don’t need money, just accept and receive it.

The promise of Christ is the promise of God’s free gift, the invitation of abundant grace to all.

Part of Christ

Created To Be Part Of Christ

You were created to be part of Christ, you were designed to be a living stone in the temple of God, and you were designed to shine with the presence of God.

Let your words be a sweet fragrance to the world, your life a pleasant aroma.

Be the words of Christ and the demonstration of his love.

Let his delight in you fire the passion of your heart.

Don’t become the obstacle that prevents others excelling in all God has given them, but encourage and lift up all those who need lifting up.

Live in the open doors of heaven, live in the extravagant freedom of infinite love, live in the exuberant presence alive in your heart.

For As Christ is, So Now Are you in the World!

The Promise to Arise

The Promise to Arise

“Shake yourself from the dust; arise, sit, O Jerusalem; loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive Daughter of Zion.” –  Isaiah 52:2

The magnificence of the resurrected Christ is gloriously proclaimed with the words, “Shake yourself from the dust, arise.”

Here is the full radiant revelation of the victorious King, for in Christ we have entered into a New Covenant, a new relationship with God. A new day has come, a new dawn has arisen in the heart of mankind, for Christ heralds a new beginning for all.

And the declaration of God is his overwhelming desire that we shake of the dust. We shake off everything, every hindrance, and every lie that would rise up in our mind, thoughts and feeling and tells us that Christ is not enough. For Christ is the full manifestation of God, He is the full provision of our forgiveness, healing, redemption and life.

The finished work of Christ was a complete, once and for all eternal redemption.

God’s word is for us to arise and be everything that Christ has made us to be. To let his glory, joy and abundance flourish in our lives and we do this effortlessly by resting, accepting and delighting in all Christ has given to us. For we live in him because he now lives in us.

The abundant life of God has been deposited inside every believer, so shake of the dust of the past, the world, and arise and shine with the glory of God.

The Promise of Water

The Promise of Water to All Who are Thirsty.

‘For I will pour out water on him who is thirsty, And streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring And My blessing on your descendants; – Isaiah 44:3

Jesus is the promise of living water, the promise of delight, joy, blessing, an ever refreshing fountain of life.

His living water poured out upon our parched, dry souls fills us, fulfils us, and immerses our hearts into an oasis of grace.

For his flowing river is the water of reconciliation, freedom from condemnation, release from guilt. Living water that cleanses and restores, forgives and forgets, it keeps no record of sin and declares you innocent.

It is the promise of the presence of God alive within you, the promise that you NEVER have to thirst again. For God has made his home in your heart, his deep well of love overflowing in your spirit.  God cannot tear himself apart, he cannot go back on his word, his mercy upholds you, his commitment keeps you and love will forever sustain you.

Christ has united himself into you; he is your constant stream of vibrant, sustaining water.

Nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus, nothing can steal your joy and God who is infinite in love can do exceedingly, abundantly above all you could ask or think according to the living water of the spirit that lives within you.

In Christ

In Christ you have become a citizen of heaven.

You have been resurrected into new life in Christ.

Abundant life is now yours.

Abundant love has embraced you.

Abundant joy dances in your heart.

Abundant kindness fills you with the compassion of God.

Abundant peace stills the storms that would try to rage Against you.

Everything that God created you to be you already are in Christ.

You are free to be yourself, to be the unique person God created you to be.

God’s abundance is your inheritance in Christ.

The Favourable Time

The Favourable time.

“This is what the Lord says, “In a favourable time I have answered You, And in a day of salvation I have helped You; And I will keep watch over You and give You for a covenant of the people, To restore the land [from its present state of ruin] and to apportion and give as inheritances the deserted hereditary lands, “ – Isaiah 49:8

The good news of the resurrection of the saviour is that we have been placed into the perpetual season of the favour of God. That the plan of God was to bestow upon us the restoration and wholeness that we lost and our ruin has been superseded by heavens abundance:

And this promise of the favourable season contains that life giving fruit of creation. To bring and give us knowledge of salvation, to give us forgiveness and remission of sin, to place inside of us God’s heart of tender mercy and loving-kindness, and to draw our life and light from the power of the Holy Spirit that indwells us.

No longer do we have to be influenced by the fluctuation of seasons, the pressure of circumstance, for In Christ we are constantly in God’s favour.

And this favour means that we are held in an everlasting embrace, kept by Christ’s indestructible life, filled with his unconditional love, and showered with unloseable grace.

For the promise of Christ is to heal the broken hearted, to set the captive free, to declare the favourable time of the Lord and to know the acceptance, value and love of a good God.

Christ Has Embraced You

Christ Has Embraced You.

Today embrace the power and goodness of God. Embrace the inheritance of grace that has been given to you.

Creativity flows in your heart and flows through your veins into everything you do.

What God has planted in you is amazing, God’s goodness declares the victory of the cross and reveals the divine advantage given to you in Christ.

Receive the kiss of Christ and let his loving embrace hold you in his everlasting arms of unconditional love.

Your life is rooted in the favour of God. Every spiritual blessing has been decreed and given to you in Christ.

All of Christ has been given to you for you to embrace.

He has embraced you and called you his delight, receive his embrace and let his love fill you up.

In Christ

Now In Christ:-

I now have a divine nature, and my old sinful nature died in Christ at the cross.

I had been made righteous and good,

I have God’s desires inside me,

I experience God’s delight within me,

I have a fountain of life bubbling up through me.

I had been set free from the slavery of the world,

I had been delivered from the corruption, decay and death that I inherited through my natural birth,

I am made eternal clean, holy and blessed through my spiritual birth into Christ.

You Are Mine

The Promise that You Are Mine.

“But now, this is what the Lord, your Creator says, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you [ransomed you by paying a price for you instead of leaving you captive; I have called you by name; you are Mine! “ – Isaiah 43:1

The love of God will never fail you. The love of God will not let you go. The love of God is strong enough, perfect enough, and powerful enough to cover you, fill you and wrap you in the knowledge of his faithfulness towards you.

The promise of Jesus Christ is the promise of God’s love for you; it is the promise that God declares you are MINE!

God’s promise to you is bigger than all your doubt, it is deeper that all your rebellion and stronger than all your unbelief. It transcends every lie that would invade your mind and assails every stronghold that would captivate your thoughts.

You cannot get away from the love of God, but you can hide from its beauty.

The promise of Christ Jesus is the promise of redemption, freedom from slavery, deliverance, protection and the presence of the living God.

Jesus calls us out of brokenness, bondage and oppression; he picks us up from the gutter of unbelief and death and puts us on the father’s lap in heaven. He holds us in his tight embrace and whispers his affirmation of peace and acceptance into our hearts. His life kindles the flame of life within our innermost being.

In Christ Jesus you no longer have to go through life afraid of death, afraid of punishment, afraid of rejection, afraid of sickness, afraid of disaster because his love saves us, holds us, keeps us and declares to us, “That you are mine!”

Christ – The Open Door

The Open Door of Christ – An Open Door Never Shut!

The Open Door of The New Covenant

I am the Lord, I have called You (the Messiah) in righteousness [for a righteous purpose], I will also take You by the hand and keep watch over You, And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people [Israel], As a light to the nations (Gentiles), To open the eyes of the blind, To bring out prisoners from the dungeon. And those who sit in darkness from the prison. – Isaiah 42 : 6-7

Christ frees us from the captivity of blindness and the prison of separation. For Christ has come and entered into our dungeon and opened the door to the vast, bountiful treasure of heaven.

Our hearts have been opened to the majesty and abundance of the full dimension of God’s wonderful love.

The door that God opens to us in Christ Jesus is never shut.

Everything that God is, his love, abundance, health, freedom has been opened to us by his grace. We are no longer looking from the outside looking inward, we have entered the inner sanctuary of heaven and all the riches of heaven are ours in Christ.

Christ is the open door and he has flooded our darkness with his light, he has freed us from the dudgeon of oppression and sickness and he has opened our eyes to his glorious radiance.

Christ is the promise to open the door and never to close it, therefore today don’t let anything or anyone hold you captive to fear, sickness, distress and despair. For in Christ all the abundance and provision has been given to you.

Walk through the open door of grace and into the favour of the new life given to you in Christ Jesus.

God’s Delight

The Promise of God’s Delight.

“Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold; My Chosen One in whom My soul delights.I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the nations. – Isaiah 42:1

God designed and created you for beauty. He redeemed you for beauty. You were the delight of his heart, the raging fire of his desire and the eternal joy that ravished his plans. He designed the universe for your benefit, so you could marvel at his vastness, desire his goodness, be captivated by his kindness and bask in his beauty.

Jesus Christ was the glory of God revealed to mankind. He was the delight of God’s desire. Everything that was in God was found in Christ and Christ is the first born of every believer. We have been united into the fullness of Christ; his life is now the life that is alive in our veins.

And just as Jesus was the delight of God, we are now the delight of the Father. You now are covered in beauty eternal, cemented in love, clothed in the glory of God, intertwined with him in union down in the innermost depths of your heart; you exist in love, for love has made its kingdom in your heart.

For the servant came to free us from the lies of the enemy that enslaved, confused and trapped mankind. The lies that took away our value, degraded our beauty and trapped us into a prison of shame. He came to demonstrate the goodness of God, to act in the mercy of God and to touch us with the compassion of God.

The promise of God’s delight is the overflowing grace of God demonstrated to us, that while we were lost he entered our world and revealed the love of God to us in Jesus.

Newness of the Spirit

Newness of the Spirit

“For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.” Romans 7:5-6

Our old man full of the passions of this world was crucified with Christ. We died to ourselves and our sinful nature was buried with Christ.

We have a new life, a new identity, we are new creations, we buried the old man and we we raised in Christ’s resurrection into a new, holy, righteous, redeemed new life.

Sin, death, despair, lack all died at the cross, Health, Freedom, Joy, Peace, Abundance are all ours, they are the essence of the new creation.

For whoever the son sets free is FREE, do not let anyone or anything put you under the Law again. Choose freedom not slavery. Live life in the fullness of the Spirit alive inside of you.

Let the grace of God capture you, enfold you, overwhelm you, immerse you. For grace is not a doctrine, Grace is a person, Grace is Jesus Christ.
